Marc was born and raised in Riverside and graduated from Arlington High School. After serving in the United States Navy for six years he attended Highline College in Des Moines, Washington where he played as a walk on for coach Jason Prenovost.  

Marc began his coaching career with Norpoint Soccer Club for two years before moving back to Southern California.  Marc served as the Boys and Girls Varsity coach at Arlington High School from 2001 - 2010. He coached club soccer in Riverside for Riverside United and Matrix Soccer Club before moving on to Arsenal FC. After leaving Arsenal Marc joined the New York Cosmos Academy West which became the Youth Academy program for Chivas USA of the MLS which is now known as LAFC. After Chivas USA he coached for the next 8 years at Pateadores Soccer Club primarily with their younger teams taking on a couple different roles in the later years, most notably as the Youth Director for the Irvine Chapter. 

Marc currently runs a private training business in Orange County, training players of all ages at the youth and professional level. Marc currently resides in Orange County and is a father of two boys, Sean and Ryan.
