KEVIN WATSON, TECHNICAL  DIRECTOR


Kevin is born and raised in Riverside where he started his youth career playing club soccer with Riverside United before continuing on to finish his youth career with Pateadores Soccer Club. He went on to play at the collegiate level with Cal State San Bernardino and captained the California Baptist University Men’s Soccer program for his last two seasons of play. In 2007, he graduated cum laude honors with a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Management.

After college, Kevin expanded his coaching experience with the Cal Poly Pomona Women’s Soccer program and the Cal State San Bernardino Men’s Soccer program as an assistant coach for a total of four years. He started his club career with Matrix Soccer Club as a girls head coach.  Shortly after he returned to his club alma mater as a boys head coach and director with Pateadores Soccer Club for over a decade. Kevin is currently in his 12th year with RUSD as teacher for Special Education teaching American Government and Economics at Arlington High School. He also serves as the Head Coach of the Arlington High School Boys Varsity Soccer program where he recently won the schools first ever CIF-SS title in 2019 and was named CIF Div II Coach of the Year. He currently resides in Riverside with his wife, Mallory, and three kids- Benjamin (2012), Avery (2014) and Quinn (2020).
